I’m no Pat Fox, but we run the system and I had that exact same question when we started running it. The way I understand it, there are only 2 scenarios where that could happen: 2×2 (1 RB aligned to the Field) or Pro Twins (2 RB). Against 2×2 (1 RB aligned to the Field), either the RB runs toward the Boundary and the Boundary LB plays the “3” and the Field LB plays the “1” (which is very doable) or it could be a speed option or QB Power to the Field, in which case the Boundary LB is the “1”, but he his more of a cut-back player. So in those scenarios so it isn’t a problem. Against Pro Twins (2 RB) it can be a problem because they could run A-gap Iso. If you are getting that, run “Corners Over” so you don’t have to be in Minus.
