RB path on Veer

Coach Annese,

I watched your Veer video and noticed the RB was hitting anywhere from playside B gap to backside C gap. Is there a certain number of steps you tell your RB to take downhill before he can decide to cut back, or after he disconnects from the mesh is he free to find green grass where ever he can?
