• Empty Double Wing Package

    Coach Delano,

I know you use some empty sets. I have 2 different resources for Double Wing Offense packages but they have a gun QB and no fullback. A typical formation would be TE/Wing to the left; wing, slot WR and SE to the right. Instead of true power their staple is GT with the wing carrying to look like super power. Neither package has a power read play but I think this would be perfect for power read, especially similar to how you have been talking quite a bit in the Q&As about being able to run power read either way with a check with me. You actually have 3 backs to run the sweep portion to if you want the flexibility (4 if you shift the SE off the LOS). Do you agree?

Coach Anderson – – Something may have went wrong – – I replied to this on December 22nd at 9am and I am not sure if you got it. The below was my response. Hope to connect again sometime soon! Thanks, Frank

    Coach Anderson,

Sorry for the delay in response…not sure how I missed this question. Absolutely agree with your thinking and logic. The more flexibility a formation has the greater the value in our offense. By flexibility and value as we discussed in a Q&A session: gaps, potential verts, motion possibilities, who can get the ball, the various ways we can present our base plays, the complimentary plays, etc…the better!

If you want to send me that formation and or any other formations, I can have something prepared, specifically for you. Love your thinking – – and our discussions!

Hope you enjoyed your Chicken Parm my friend! Stay Well – – Until Next time!

    Have a great holiday!
